Ms Dimakatso Mojapelo

Born in Alexandra Township Gauteng Province and grew up in the Limpopo Province at a small village called Sebayeng Ga-Dikgale. Ms. Dimakatso Mojapelo was raised in a home where kindness, love, excellence and the values of sharing were central to living. A natural born leader even at a young age who enjoyed playing volleyball, modelling and dancing in her village growing up and helping those around her.

She furthered her education at Technikon Northern Gauteng in Soshanguve currently known as Tshwane University Technology where she studied a National Diploma in Information Technology and also obtaining a post grad degree BTech in ICT: Knowledge Management.

She started working as a qualified IT professional for a period of 12 years and during that time she established and founded Dimacay Trading Enterprise which she ran concurrently while she was still employed doing consultancy work in the areas of Project Management, Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture Development, and IT Business Improvement Strategies. 14 years in Construction and Infrastructure projects. She worked as a Consultant Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager for the implementation of systems at the Johannesburg Metro Police Department, Department of Local Government & Housing Limpopo now known as Co-Operative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA), Limpopo Department of Education, Limpopo Provincial Treasury, Polokwane Municipality through SITA and Capricorn District Municipality. In addition she has participated in advisory services to several government institutions for institutional capacity enhancement and turnaround strategies. It is through this exposure that she saw the National Development Plan gaps in service delivery and the large scale in infrastructure projects that she diversified the company towards the construction industry and logistics.

Originating from a largely rural province in Limpopo, Ms. Mojapelo saw first hand how terrible living conditions were affecting communities in this country. She saw that the government was eager to develop our country with basic infrastructure to help communities with funding infrastructural projects. She saw this as a business opportunity that will help towards contributing to a better country and community.

It was through this eagerness to help others that Ms. Mojapelo found what would be her second career – in the world of construction with a company that would go on to contribute in building proper roads, providing communities with clean water, construction of buildings, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, mechanical and maintaining existing facilities.

She has extensive experience in project management and has been involved in a number of projects in the construction sector in the civil, general building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing sector. She is currently growing this construction and logistics company and would like to be exposed to more civil and building projects, project management and property development.

Her passion to empower those around her especially young black women has left many lives changed for the better through implementation of learnerships, internships and permanent employment. She is a selfless person who believes in the “Blessed to be a Blessing” motto and giving back to people. She does a lot of charitable work and donations. She shares her gifts with everyone around her while challenging herself to try new things.
